It's easy to overlook stuff in GoT Ascent when you are new. Even experienced players might have missed helpful info and shortcuts.
Here are some things I have learned: 1) Bonus goals on the quests are often difficult to achieve at the time you do the quest. You should go back later and claim all the bonus goals that you have fulfilled by going backwards through the chapters.
2) It's possible to fulfill goals prior to starting on a chapter. If you are playing several volumes at the same time you can go through the "locked" chapters and claim your loot. This is very useful when it comes to the dagger you gain in Volume 1 - Epilogue. As soon as you hit 90% in any alignment you can simply start/go to Volume 2 and then hit the "prev" button. Getting the dagger much earlier than you otherwise would.
3) When sending out lots of SS on PvP the "Esc" button is your friend. Start by viewing a SS, and click on the "Player to Player" button. Choose your victim, and when you have sent the SS, simply hit Esc. You will then go to the "Choose target" screen with the victim still displayed. It's then easy to choose the same victim for the other SS as well.
4) When you need lots of PvP wins, you should always target a friend. Choose one that has a lower level, and you will win almost every battle. Remember that "Spy" doesn't harm your friend, and that "Aid", "Barter" and "Bribe" all benefits your friend.
5) When you are going to do a lot of PvP, remember to choose your talents well. If you are going to barter a lot, it's well worth it to unlock the "Negotiator" skill. This gives you 40% more for each successful barter. Other talents can give more money or resources when you win.
6) In many cases it's easier to use adventures to gain gear for your SS. Find the best adventures and spam them with SS.

Wow, great tips, navnunkjent. I'm alreaady on my fourth reincarnation and didn't knew about the "ESC" thing. As soon as I have tips of my own I'll throw them here.

Maybe it's a "well known secret", but here's a tip from me to level up really fast. All you need to do is collect the silver from your Counting House often. I haven't been able to figure out the exact algorithm behind this, so in my perception this still is a little random. Sometimes you won't gain XP at all, sometimes it will be a tiny increment, sometime it will jump close to 30%. This is not necessarily related to the actual amount of silver you collect, although I've seen some correlation between larger amounts and larger XP increments; still you may have a nice XP gain on mere 30 coins. One thing that does seem to improve the probability of a good XP gain is to perform several "active" actions (such as attacks in BQ missions), and THEN collect your silver. Using this (accidentally discovered) technique I was able to reach beyond level 200 by the end of Volume III.
Why all the hurry to level up, you ask? I see a few reasons: 1. With every level you get an extra Talent Point. 2. With every 5 levels you get an extra Control Point, meaning you can send out more of those cheap sworn swords on adventures to bring home coin and goods (and more XP, of course). 3. At the higher levels I think you are less prone to become a target of a hostile PvP action. After all, below level 150 one has to attack a player that is 5 or less level below in order to get seals. Above level 150 it's just anyone whose level is 145 or higher. Naturally, the lower end of this range is an easier target.
Hope this helps.
